Build Your Lab Career with Us

Join a team where precision meets purpose. We’re hiring clinical lab techs, clinical lab scientists, lab assistants, and lab techs – transfusion across our three locations. Full-time, part-time, or per diem — you pick the fit that’s best for you.

Naples Comprehensive Health (NCH) is growing alongside the Southwest Florida community in Naples, Florida. We’ve partnered with the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) for world-class orthopedic care and Northwestern Medicine for oncology expansion, and we continue to transform cardiac and stroke care through the NCH Rooney Heart Institute and NCH Wingard Stroke Center. We invest in technology, talent, and education, including tuition reimbursement and support for lab professionals who want to advance.

The microbiology lab team works as one, testing patient samples to deliver prompt, precise results that drive diagnosis and treatment. You’ll collaborate daily with other areas of the lab to coordinate testing priorities and share specimens. Our team works closely with physicians, nurses, and public health departments to report critical and communicable results quickly and accurately.

What makes this team stand out:

  • Autonomy and teamwork: A rotating weekly work-block schedule keeps skills sharp and responsibilities balanced. Every technologist and assistant owns their assigned area and sees tasks through.
  • Advanced technology: BioMérieux Virtuo and Vitek 2, BioFire Torch and Cepheid GeneXpert PCR platforms, Bruker MALDI, Sensititre, Previ Color Gram Stainers, and more.
  • Continuous learning: Our collaboration with FGCU brings in students and keeps knowledge fresh. Many of our lab assistants have advanced to careers as physicians, cardiac techs, and nurses.
  • Supportive culture: Flexible scheduling, teamwork under pressure, and leadership that holds regular huddles and one-on-ones.
  • Best part of the day: Applying critical thinking, learning constantly, and seeing your work directly improve patient and public health outcomes.

What’s in it for you

  • Modern tools: Work with Grifols Erytra automation, cell washers, platelet rotators, thaw baths, irradiators, and precision-controlled storage
  • Real impact: No two days are the same—product demand fluctuates, but your expertise keeps critical procedures moving
  • Collaborative crew: Daily huddles and weekly touchpoints keep everyone aligned, whether you’re filling OR orders or supporting oncology cases
  • Growth: Our partnership with Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) gives you chances to mentor students and recruit the next generation of lab professionals
  • Strong programs: Join a health system expanding its cardiac, stroke, and orthopedic specialties

Clinical Lab Scientist (MLS/MT)

Own the full testing workflow across chemistry, hematology, coag, urinalysis, and more. You’ll validate results, troubleshoot instruments, and be the calm voice when a critical value hits.
  • You bring: Bachelor’s degree in medical lab science or related, national certification eligible, or active, high-complexity testing experience
  • Shifts: Days, evenings, nights, weekend options

Clinical Lab Technician (MLT)

Run accurate tests fast, keep analyzers happy, and flag what matters. You’re the through-put hero everyone counts on.
  • You bring: Associate degree or MLT certification, experience with moderate to high-complexity testing
  • Shifts: FT, PT, Per Diem

Lab Assistant

Specimen pro. You’ll handle accessioning, centrifugation, aliquoting, phlebotomy support, and courier prep so the bench stays focused.
  • You bring: HS diploma, strong data entry, comfort with fast turnarounds. Phlebotomy a plus
  • Shifts: Flexible days with some evenings or weekends

Lab Tech – Transfusion

Our busy Transfusion Service supports a 370-bed hospital serving cardiology, oncology, neuro, orthopedics, and mother–child populations. You’ll join a close-knit team of medical technologists and lab assistants handling everything from ABO/Rh typing and antibody IDs to crossmatches, eluates, titers, thawing, irradiating, and issuing blood products.

In addition to competitive pay, we offer:

  • Benefits that matter: health, dental and vision plans, HSA/FSA options, 401(k) with match
  • Time off: generous PTO, paid holidays for eligible roles
  • Career growth: certification bonuses, CE support, leadership pathways
  • Perks: scrub allowance, wellness programs, employee recognition
