Naples Comprehensive Health (NCH) is growing its inpatient rehab team and is currently seeking physical therapists and physical therapist assistants to join us. This is a chance to join a collaborative, forward-thinking group where therapists don’t just treat patients, they shape the flow of care across the hospital.
The patient population you’ll see is broad and interesting – everything from orthopedic and neurological cases to patients in the ICU. You won’t be dealing with pediatrics, but you will get a steady mix that keeps your day dynamic. PT evaluations are typically scheduled for an hour, while treatments are set for 30 minutes, which gives you enough time to provide meaningful care without feeling like you’re rushing from one patient to the next. And of course, you’ll have access to all the equipment you’d expect in acute care — gait belts, walkers, slide boards, wheelchairs — and when the heavier lifting is needed, the nursing units are equipped with lift devices.
What makes this team tick is the way everyone works together. PTs and PTAs sit alongside OTs, COTAs, and SLPs in the same office space, which makes coordinating patient care seamless.
At the same time, you have the autonomy to manage your own caseload. Therapists self-assign patients based on priority, diagnosis and needs, and you’re empowered to work directly with the hospital team to help guide discharge planning.
Both the stroke and orthopedic programs are on the rise, giving you the chance to be part of something that’s growing in impact. Professional development isn’t just lip service here either — you’ll have access to a clinical ladder program, free CEU opportunities and the chance to work with students if teaching is something you enjoy.
